Certified quality with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001

Modern businesses have a critical dependency on IT services, making their effective delivery essential for smooth operations. Any service platform, even when supported by state-of-the-art ICT infrastructures, will not provide maximum value unless it is accompanied by proper management of the services offered. To ensure that these processes encompass all service cycles and adequately meet our clients’ needs, Adam undergoes an external audit annually. Once again, our efforts have been rewarded with the achievement of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications for IT quality.

The achievement of these certifications is a source of pride for Adam, as it reinforces our approach to managing our data centers in Barcelona, Parc Tecnològic del Vallès, and Madrid, based on technological innovation, proximity, and flexibility. Additionally, these certifications provide extra motivation in our pursuit of excellence in the services we offer, with the aim of delivering maximum added value to our service users.

    ISO 9001:2008

The ISO 9001:2008 certification, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) that can be applied internally by organizations, regardless of whether the product or service is provided by a public organization or a private company, and regardless of its size. This certification can be used for certification purposes or contractual applications.

Adam has obtained the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management System, applicable to data center services and associated communications services. The standard has been approved by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA)

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard is an international standard for information security (Information Technology – Security Techniques – Information Security Management Systems – Requirements), approved and published as an international standard in October 2005 by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

It specifies the necessary requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to the well-known “Deming Cycle” (PDCA – Plan, Do, Check, Act). It aligns with the best practices described in ISO/IEC 27002 (formerly known as ISO/IEC 17799), which originated from the BS 7799-2:2002 standard developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Adam has been certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) according to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard for its Information Security Management System. The system applies to the management of information security associated with Housing and Hosting activities in its own data centers and managed services.
